I fell right deep into the adventure that is the sound of Indians ever since I stumbled across the self-released debut track Magic Kids almost a year back and I haven’t gotten bored of it quite yet. The man behind the nostalgic-feeling keyboard-driven sound goes by the name of Søren Løkke Juul, a drop-dead CUTE danish name, if you ask me. Based out of Copenhagen, Indians signed to 4AD in 2012, a house with nice neighbours that is now the home of Juul’s first full album, Somewhere Else. The 10-track beauty (which you better get yourself, here, now) features live material of Indians’ 4AD session BUT if you want to see, hear and feel for yourself, we strongly recommend hopping to his Berlin show at Privatclub tomorrow night. Support is expected to come from Berlin’s very own Mighty Oaks. Now go ask for tickets at Koka36.
