While the original version of Holy Other‘s Held works with a very subtle use of vocal clips, floating synth pads and drums, the hands of London’s up-and-coming house producer Mike Greene aka Fort Romeau added some warmth and some heaviness to the beats, lifting the whole thing up to a seriously addictive sensual downtempo track – one just right for a dull work day.
Manchester-based producer Holy Other released his eagerly anticipated debut album featuring the title track Held on TriAngles in summer 2012, a solid ten-piece showcasing neatly executed inspiration from American Hip Hop and R&B which you can get yourselves here.
