MØ, Gold Panda, same club, same night, I like the sound of that. The Factory event is ready for its June edition and so are we. And since Berlin is a friend of sick lineups, there’s more. And more. And more. Check this:
Getting real LIVE on your asses
- MØ – Our latest Danish girl crush will shake it like only she can make it – with those jams, her schoolgirl braids and a clean 90s look, MØ will be makin’ us move, that’s for sure.
- Gold Panda – possibly the hottest Essex has to offer. But let’s not leave it at that – Mr. Gold Panda is easily one of the most noteworthy producers of the decade and manages to sound surprisingly different with each release.
- Luke Abbott – this beatmaker from Norwich will be supporting Gold Panda on his tour in the falll, so someone figured why not let the dudes get together and do their thing now. Smart someone.
- Thomalla – this Berlin babe has been around for ages. Actual ages. In the meantime, Thomalla signed to Bodi Bill’s label Krakatau and you should get around his debut EP Gefilde.

Barcelona-based producer of beats we love John Talabot leaves behind the dense soundscapes he usually creates and strips down his own track Destiny in this Dubtool Version. Talabot and his partner in crime Pional are experts when it comes to pacing the heavy bass beats and vocals in the rework of this gem, peeling off all the layers from the more psychedelic-feeling original until what’s left is deeply club-ready. Are you?
BERLIN! Yes I know it’s hot, and this shit’s about to get even more-so. Cali rapper kid KOOL A.D. is in town and ready to make us bums move at Prince Charles tonight. I can feel it in my bones already, can you?
You should, ’cause we’re giving away 2×2 spots on the guestlist. WHOOT!
WIN WIN: simply like us on facebook and send us a quick loveletter to hello at ponydanceclyde dot com come come! Email including the subject KOOL A.D. and your full name – until 5pm, please!

KiII J‘s debut release Phoenix is among those special tracks that can get you through horrible weeks AND deliver the soundtrack to banging weekends. You feel me? WATCH IT, here comes my personal predicting of the future: KiII J is one of this year’s big surprises in all things music/Scandinavian/good. Phoenix is a fresh effort that drags us in deep with its high-pitched whispered vocals, deep basses and drums that leave us feeling bittersweet – and impatiently longing for more of that.
Summer Heart is one for gloomy feel-good tracks, always was, always will be. So just as we start dealing with sweaty days in office chairs, David Alexander unveils the video to his beautifully orchestrated track Beat of Your Heart, making us long for seaside views and happy hands in the air. Which doesn’t necessarily make the sweating in office chairs any better.
And now whenever David sings ‘Your heart, your heart …’ – what I hear is: ‘You’re high, you’re high …’ – and I think: ‘Whatever – You’re high yourself!’
